Hello there,
I would like to start out by thanking you for visiting my blog. There's a lot of different bloggers out there and just every person counts and it motivates us to continue what we're doing.
When and how I got interested in makeup
The first time I used makeup, a friend used her eyeliner on me in middle school. Now I realize that it's unhealthy to share eyeliners but at the time it wasn't something we thought about. From there I saw that there was a major change in how my eyes look. The first eyeliner I ever brought was from a random dollar store near my middle school and it was horrible. The kohl pencil was stiff and hard and just not creamy at all. The liquid one... it flakes and just falls under my eyes and just I can't take it anymore and saved enough to finally save some money to get drug stores one. I wasn't given allowance so money was hard to come by at my age since my parent thought kids shouldn't have any use for it.
My experience with makeup
My interest in makeup increase as I started watching makeup tutorials on YouTube. The first beauty guru I watched was Michelle Phan back in 2009 for her romantic curls tutorial. My cousin directed me to her when I borrowed her curling iron for the first time and was lost and confused on how to use it. *Deep Sigh* It was a dark time with countless makeup errors but I overcame and is somewhat good with what I do.
In high school I was in charge of makeup for the musical. This started in sophomore year and I continue until I graduated. My freshman year of university I tried to find a club that would need some sort of makeup and I came across a modeling one and I tried for a semester and decided their activities were really my type.
What I want for this blog
I hope to encourage people to improve their skill in makeup and teach you guys a trick or two from what I learn the hard way.
