Random : My Tattoo story & How I take care of it

Hello everyone! So this is going to be a very informative about how I take care of my tattoo and the meaning behind it.

Meaning :
Semicolon : "A semicolon Is used when an author could have ended a sentence but decided not to. I am the author and the sentence is my life." - Keep Calm And Don't Blink
Heart : To remind me that there’s people who cares and I’m not alone. It is also so I can continue to learn to love myself.

Process :
I had a picture of a tattoo I wanted so he looked it over and drew it on my wrist with blue and red pen. He measured it so it doesn’t get too big or too small. We spent some time looking over the drawing on my wrist and fixing it so it’ll look just like the way I wanted. The pain of getting the tattoo hurts A LOT. I know the pain varies on the location but I wasn’t prepare for it. I had my eyes closed but my face was getting red from the pain and I saw white flashes behind my eyes from the pain. The process lasted for a few minutes but it was a very painful few minutes.

A rough drawing from the picture I shown him.

After we made adjustments to it.

Right after it finish.
The tattoo was a bit swollen which is pretty understandable. It only last for a day and it went down.

A close up of the tattoo so you can see how the swollen part went down.
This is the 3rd day of the tattoo.
On the 3rd day, it has settle down a lot and healing up very nicely.

How to take care of it :
  • Don’t touch it for at least 2 hours.
  • Don’t cover it. Let it breathe as much as it could.
  • Wash it with antibacterial soap and pat dry with paper towel.
  • Do not pick the scab or peel the skin that’s coming off.

  • Apply fragrance free lotion over it after the 3rd day. I have the Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion that is fragrance free.

If you have any question or advise on how I should take care of it, please comment below!
