Review : The Face Shop Herb Day Lip & Eye Remover Waterproof

Hello! Today's item is something I picked up from The Face Shop while I was in NYC for July 4. I want to try a new makeup remover to see if it can go against my holy grail Maybelline clean express waterproof makeup remover. The first thing I noticed was the layers were separated just like Maybelline's and I heard from a youtuber that it's better if it is and so far it's kind of true.

After shaking it, the mixture turned cloudy and bubbley on top just like the Maybelline's. When I opened it, it has a very very sudden scent to it. 

L - R : Concealer, lipstick, liquid liner, shimmery pink liner, kohl liner, gel liner, cream shadow, and mascara.

I used one cotton pad to remove the makeup. Lay it over the product for a few second and wipe it away. I noticed it took most of it away the first swipe so I went back with another to take the rest away. The lipstick was a bit more stubborn and took a few more swipes, but the glitter from the cream shadow stayed and wouldn't get off even when I used a clean cotton pad with some makeup remover so that was a bit disappointing.

• It doesn't have much of a scent to it which I like.
• It didn't sting my eyes or leave any residue behind.
• Takes off eye makeup easily and lipstick if you wore it for a period of time.

Con

• Doesn't do so well with shimmery makeup
• A bit pricey. I believe this cost about $12.
• Doesn't label how much ml it contains...

I don't think I would buy this again just because it cost almost twice the amount the Maybelline's makeup remover cost and does basically the same job.
