Review : Neutrogena beach defense water + sun barrier lotion SPF 70

I received this sunscreen for free when I was asking questions to one of Target's beauty consult and in the end she gave me two of these sunscreen and some sample of pixi's primer and a serum from one of their new lines. It is a small trial size (1 fl) and cost $1.99 and the full size (6.7 fl) cost $9.99.

Let me get straight to the point. I hate the scent of it. It was totally unexpected because I'm so used to sunscreen that only has the sunscreen smell of it, that the random floral scent surprised me. It just so happens that day I ran out of the sunscreen I was using before, so since I had this laying around untouched I decided to give it a try. At first I didn't notice it because my nose was a bit stuffy, but when I applied it on my brother, he was disgusted by the smell and I had to sniff his arm to realize what made him pull back. The smell reminded us when my dad drives in the middle of summer and had an air fresher in the car because he smokes. The heat makes scent a lot stronger so whatever that air fresher was, it was way too strong and just made us miserable the entire ride. 

Besides the smell the product it works pretty well. Didn't get any sun burn or redness that I noticed. 

Random note : Don't trust Target's review. While surfing around for images, the small tube had a 3 star with 6 reviews, but when you click on it, it only shows 1 review with 5 stars so Target is filtering out negative reviews to promote the item.
